Retratamiento endodóntico no quirúrgico. Reporte de un caso clínico

Resumen


La presencia de microorganismos causa enfermedad pulpar y contribuye a infecciones endodónticas. El objetivo de la endodoncia es limpiar, desinfectar, eliminar bacterias de los conductos radiculares infectados; aportar un buen sellado es la meta principal; pero cuando todo esto ha fallado u ocurre una reinfección se optará por un retratamiento endodóntico. Al retratamiento del conductos se le considera un "todo o nada”. Además de ser una alternativa a la cirugía periapical.
